The Event was organized by the Association of Environmental Professionals PAEW, Global 100 RE Ukraine and the Office of Sustainable Solutions. Motivating communities towards real measurable achievements in green transformation is the goal of the project. Read more
2024.01.23 - Pruning seminar by Stiyka Ukraina
On January 2024 the seminar of the proning of fruit and berry plants took part at the demo field of Stiyka Ukraina.
The peculiarities of the pruning of different varieties of blueberry plants, pear, sweet cherry etc have been explained to the participants - local growers and horticultural producers.
28.02.2024 - Final workshop on PSD project "Capacity building for the establishment of water management WUOs for sustainable agricultural production in the Volyn region"
The project is supported by the Dutch Government and executed by the NGO Primavera.
During the workshop the results of the implementation of the pilot project in Kolodyazhna community and to discuss the road map for the creation and development of the capacity of the water user organization (WUO) for the operation of multifunctional drainage systems of dual regulation in Volyn within the framework of the current legislation. Also taking into account the state and problems of the use of the Krychevych drainage system and the views of stakeholders at the local level regarding various aspects of the sustainable development of the community territory. 2024.03.09 - Floricultural study tour for Ukrainian veterans in the Netherlands
In March the group of Ukrainian veterans visited DutchFlora. The visit was organized by Netherlands For Ukraine Foundation and The Leeuw Kyiv Foundation with support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine. This is the second study visit in the framework of the program of Rehabilitation and agricultural knowledge transfer for Ukrainain veterans in the Netherlands. Read more
2024.03.29 - Webinar: Lepto H monitoring of milk samples for human health. Dutch Experience for Ukraine
The event is organized in the framework of the Public-Private Partnership program financed by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine. During the webinar participants learned why the Netherland choose for eradication of Lepto-H and monitoring the status by bulk milk sampling; about Dutch Program and Dutch L Hardjo situation and the results of the project done in Ukraine. 2024.08.09 - National Farm Day
II National Farm Day was held at Rozvolozhzhya Farm. The representatives of more than 60 local dairy farms from all over Ukraine, as well as representatives of agrarian universities, milk processing plants, industry experts and companies - suppliers gathered on the farm to dicuss the dairy sector develoment and learn farm management experience of Anoon Smits and Myke van der Avoird. 2024.08.30 - Potato Ukraine
ll-Ukrainian Potato Day POTATO UKRAINE was held on August 30, 2024 at the "Eco Tour" farm, in the village of Kozyn, Lutsk district, Volyn region.
Eight breeding companies from Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Denmark presented 65 new and promising varieties of potatoes for table use, processed into French fries, chips and flakes.
The focus will be on technological features of growing potatoes under conditions of stress, overcoming today's challenges met by potato growers in Ukraine. The companies - supliers for potato industry like providiers of materials, technologies and machinery for potato cultivation, processing and storage took part in the field exhibition. Read more
2024.09.12 - Large Farm Management Conference
Organized by the association "Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business" and the UCABevent agency the XV International Conference "Effective Management of Agricultural Companies" (LFM) is a platform that proves the indomitability of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. The event was attended by more than 400 top managers of leading agricultural companies, efficient producers, processors of agricultural products, advanced investors and industry experts, representatives of resource and service companies, and innovative startups. Agricultural Counsellor Carolien Spaans took part in the event. Read more
2024.09.13 - Master Class "Ukrainian Mourning Floristry"
This year a master class of florist Iryna Kornienko (Dnipro/Kyiv) with a new vision of the mourning floristry was prepared in the framework of a special project from the Association of Ukrainian Florists in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine. The event was ograniseed in the framework of the National Florists Competition. Read more
2024.09.22-25 - LVVN visit to Ukraine
On 23-25 September 2024, a delegation from the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature (LVVN) visited Ukraine. The main goal was to get a better understanding of the impact of the war on the AgriFood sector in Ukraine, meet up with local and international partners. Read more
2024.10.25-26 - International Dairy Congress
In October 2024, the Association of Milk Producers held their annual conference in Uman to review the industry's 2024 performance and discuss the key challenges and opportunities for 2025. During the conference it was discussed the cooperation with Dutch businesses and possible opportunities. Read more
2024.11.15-16 - Incredible Craft Bag at New Food Summit
With more than 40 craft producers, Incredible Bag and Instafarmers project took part in the key agrifood event New Food Summit in Kyiv 15-16 October. AgroPortal.ua, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, presented local products from the "Incredible craft bag" - an online platform that united the products of the finalists of the "Incredible villages of Ukraine" competition and project participants "Instafarmers".
New Food Summit provides the platform for panel discussions, networking sessions and an exhibition area. The The event brings together the key players of the agri-food market — agricultural holdings, processors, producers, distributors, retailers and HoReCa — to discuss new solutions and opportunities for cooperation.
One of the most interesting discussions of New Food Summit 2024 the "Way of Craft Producers in Ukraine", which is dedicated to the challenges that craft producers face when entering the shelves of large retail chains, as well as ways to overcome these obstacles. Read more
2024.11.28 - Dairy Business
In November 2024, Ukraine's two largest dairy associations – the Association of Milk Producers and the Association of Milk Processors – held their annual conferences to review the industry's 2024 performance and discuss the key challenges and opportunities for 2025.
EU integration was a major topic of discussion during the conferences. Ukraine is actively working to align its animal health and welfare regulations with EU standards, requiring close collaboration between the government, policymakers, and businesses. Panel discussions featured the Minister of Agriculture, dairy industry representatives, and members of the agrarian committee in Ukraine’s parliament. Read more
