Kazakhstan is interested in bringing dairy products to the European market
There are difficulties with the export of domestic dairy products, especially to European countries. During a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Integration, Arman Shakkaliev, in Kostanay, local entrepreneurs raised several such issues.

The Minister emphasized that protecting the domestic market is the main task, and maximum support will be provided to domestic producers. To ensure the population has access to high-quality products, the goal is to have 70% of retail outlets meet modern standards by 2029. Subsidies are being allocated for the construction and reconstruction of new retail facilities. During his visit, Arman Shakkaliev toured several production enterprises to familiarize himself with their condition.
Arman Shakkaliev, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan: “There is demand for dairy products in European countries, especially cheese and yogurt. However, to enter the market, the products must pass checks and registration by the European Union's regulatory authorities. We have worked on what support we can provide in terms of regulatory and technical documentation, laboratory control, to ease this process.”
