Mexico: Dutch presence at the 29th edition of the Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato®
The 29th edition of the Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato® will take place from November 12 to November 15, 2024 in Irapuato, Mexico. Many (inter)national companies and visitors are expected. Of course the Dutch are present again.
Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato®
The Expo AgroAlimentaria Guanajuato® is one of the most important annual events for producers, distributors, investors and professionals in the agri-food sector in Mexico. The four days are filled with opportunities to meet, share knowledge, establish strategic alliances, expose and discover the latest trends and technologies in the market.
With an area of more than 62 hectares, more than 650 exhibitors and an interesting conference program, the organization expects to receive more than 126,000 visitors from 52 different countries.
The Netherlands pavilion
The agricultural team of the Netherlands Embassy in Mexico took the initiative to coordinate the Netherlands pavilion.
In the pavilion a diverse group of companies and organizations can be found:
- Aweta has been offering turnkey solutions for the grading and packing of fresh fruit and vegetables for over 55 years in more than 45 countries worldwide.
- De Gier Drive Systems has been developing innovative, durable drive systems for greenhouses, livestock stables, or any other type of building for over 65 years.
- DQ Hortisoluciones provides services to protected agriculture in terms of inputs, implements, technology and is an expert in laboratory analysis.
- GreenV Mexico is a local partner for the installation and service of Dutch quality greenhouse systems.
- Hortilife delivers modern “turn-key” greenhouses that meet the best standards using Dutch knowledge and research centers and several technical partners.
- Hortimaq is a Mexican company that represents different companies in the areas of sorting and packing machines, post-harvest and disinfection.
- Koppert México offers an integrated system of natural solutions to produce healthier and safer crops, helping growers improve quality and yield.
- Meteor Systems offers products that ensure optimal growth while minimizing water and fertilizer use. The company supplies complete growing systems for various crops.
- Semillas Globales RR is a Mexican company which is specialized in vegetable seeds.
- Weber Vacuum Group offers vacuum cooling solutions that significantly enhance product shelf life, and optimize efficiency, for baking, cooling and drying processes.
The above mentioned companies will join the pavilion, while other Dutch companies have opted to have a stand somewhere else on the exhibition floor. In total around 25 Dutch companies are expected to exhibit.
And of course, the agricultural team of the Netherlands Embassy can provide you with information on the sector in both the Netherlands and Mexico, and guide you in setting up your network.
