Dutch dairy farmer in Ukraine will host National Farm Day in August

Dutch farmers in Ukraine will host the next National Dairy Farm Day in Kyiv region in the first part of August 2024.

The answers to these questions will be provided  during National farm day organized by the Association of Dairy producers and hosted by the Dutch farm in Ukraine - Rozvolozhzhya.

Rozvolozhzhya Farm has 2000 dairy cows and up to 2500 calves.

- Milk yield per cow is 33-34 L

- During 2018 - 2021 two new facility for dairy cows have been put into operation. The activity sensors that have been introduced on a farm in 2017 had a significant improvement for the operation.

- The farm has 60 workers.

The owner of the farm Antoon Smits describes his approach to the farm management as "Working on a farm always ask the questions what is the best for the cow".

The national farm day on Rozvolozhzhya farm is supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine.
