Kees Huizinga, a farmer from the Netherlands has been working in Ukraine for 20 years and did not leave his own farm even despite the full-scale invasion of Russia. He continues to produce milk and helps replace the shortage of vegetables, the prices of which have risen due to the occupation and hostilities in the Kherson region.

Kees Huizinga:  "If I flee the country and if I leave the business alone then I am not supporting Ukraine, not supporting the army, not supporting the soldiers and then the Russians will come here".

More than 350 Ukrainians are employed at his enterprise. Kees and his Ukrainian colleague told Anna Kostyuchenko and Pavel Sukhodolskyi (@VOANews) about sowing in the conditions of war and how Russian sabotage of Ukrainian grain exports affects the daily income of farmers.
