Updated veterinary certificate for export of pet food to Ukraine
Procedure of export of pet food to Ukraine is simplified.
In response to business requests and with the support of the Agricultural Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Ukraine, the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) and the State Service for Food Safety of Ukraine have agreed upon and published an updated bilateral veterinary certificate form for pet food which is required for exports to Ukraine.
This newly approved form is designed to streamline the export process, ensuring that pet food products meet the stringent health and safety standards required for entry into the Ukrainian market. The update reflects a coordinated effort to facilitate international trade while upholding high standards for pet health and safety.
Exporters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new certificate requirements and ensure compliance to prevent any disruptions in trade. The updated form and detailed instructions are now available on the official website of State Service for Food Safety of Ukraine - _на_ввезення_кормів.pdf (dpss.gov.ua).
This development represents a significant step in enhancing trade relations and supporting the growing demand for high-quality pet food products in Ukraine. Exporters should stay informed about any further updates and are encouraged to reach out to the relevant authorities for additional guidance or assistance.
