Ghana Seed Sector Assessment
While indigenous knowledge for seed selection, preservation and exchange in Ghana preserved biodiversity, they lacked the capacity to meet the growing demand for improved seed varieties. To explore opportunities for fostering a well-functioning seed sector in Ghana that is innovative, competitive, resilient and inclusive, a comprehensive assessment of its current performance was conducted.
