Despite the critical role that farmer organizations can play in enhancing the productivity, market access, and overall sustainability of smallholder farmers in Ghana's horticulture sector, there is limited comprehensive understanding of their current state, effectiveness and impact.

Read this full document on a study we commissioned to assess the current state of farmer organizations in the horticulture sector of Ghana with focus on the pepper, tomato, and onion value chains.  The study identified the challenges facing these organizations and made recommendations for improvement.
