Results of the conference: "Berry Production and Processing: Technologies and Innovations"
The V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Berry Production and Processing: Technologies and Innovations" was held with incredible success on December 9-10 in Kyiv.
The conference broke all records and became the largest berry event in Ukraine, gathering more than 400 participants from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, France and others.
The conference program includes speeches by experts, roundtable discussions on intellectual property issues. The impressive number of exhibitors who took part in the exhibition of equipment, machinery and technologies for the berry industry - more than 50! For the first time during the conference the International Congress on Freezing and Cold Logistics of Berries was held.
The group of companies from the Netherlands was represented by Reinoud Nuijten, Agricultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kindgom of the Netherlands in Ukraine. He noted that cooperation between the berry sectors of Ukraine and the Netherlands is very strong.
"The Netherlands is not only a country to which Ukrainian producers export berries. A large amount of planting material and technologies for storing and processing of berries comes to Ukraine from the Netherlands. These technologies help to make berry growing more successful and at the same time safe for the environment. " - mentioned Reinoud Nuijten in his speech.
