NL Business Lounge on SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD Exhibition in Algiers
Are you active in the agricultural sector and interested in exploring new opportunities in Algeria: the 23rd edition of the SIMA-SIPSA Algeria 2025 exhibition, one of the largest agricultural events in Africa, will be held from May 26 to May 29, 2025, at the SAFEX Exhibition Center in Algiers.The Embassy of the Netherlands, in close cooperation with the Dutch-Algerian Business Council, is present with a NL Business Lounge. The confirmation deadline for participation is April 16, 2025.
Algeria's population is 45 million, and it is growing by nearly 1 million people per year. Algeria's government is promoting local production growth and sector modernization in order to replace food imports, both in livestock and plant crops. The Algerian market provides excellent business opportunities in a variety of industries, including horticulture, dairy farming, seeds, poultry, and others.
Algeria is seeking technology and knowledge to modernize its agriculture. The Netherlands has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality products and services, and it can capitalize on the opportunities presented by Algeria's expanding market.
The SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD 2025 Exhibition
The annual SIPSA-FILAHA Fair is the most important Algerian exhibition dedicated to the agricultural sector. In 2024, SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD closed its 22nd edition with a B2B audience of more than 40,000 visitors and 720 professional exhibitors from 39 countries.
The fair presents a complete offer to meet all sectors, the latest innovations and a set of forums and conferences organized by the FILAHA Innove Foundation “Algerian Seniors Experts Organization”.
For the year 2025, the 23rd edition looks promising with the resumption of economic exchanges and easier access to the local market for foreign companies. The event will serve as a meeting point for leaders and experts from across the continent, facilitating valuable exchanges of knowledge and expertise.
The NL Business Lounge
The agricultural team of the Netherlands’ Embassy in Algiers will be present with a NL Business Lounge, open to Dutch companies wishing to conquer the Algerian market.
Participating in the NL Business Lounge means joining a group of Dutch companies and the Embassy united under the “NL – solving global challenges together” banner, allowing you to increase your visibility. With support of the NL-ALG business council, we will provide the participants with interesting contacts.
Participation fees
Dutch companies can benefit from the presence in the NL Business Lounge for a fixed amount of maximum 600 euro. In the business lounge, the use of table and chairs, electricity, coffee, tea and water are included. Travel and accommodation are at your own expense.
