Why join this webinar?

The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) shares their annual reports about trends and developments of global production and consumption of animal-derived products. In cooperation with Agribusiness Service BV, this webinar will dive into topics such as sustainability, circularity, animal welfare, the consumers’ perspective and the issues with protein transition and food security. Agricultural Counsellor Jasper Dalhuisen will also speak during this event.

Why is this relevant? Dutch business plays a key role in the international animal production systems. The Dutch Government pleads for a shift from animal protein to vegetable proteins in the human diet. Simultaneously, global food security is high on the agenda.

The OECD experts will discuss challenges in the Dutch livestock sector with Dutch stakeholders, with a Q&A session at the end of the discussion.

The webinar will take place on 10 September, 10:30 pm CET.

You can participate by signing up via the Agribusiness Service Portal.

Note: this webinar is targeted towards the Dutch livestock sector, but will be presented in English. This is a free to join webinar.
