Bangladesh Seed Sector Assessment
On behalf of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy in Bangladesh, SeedNL, Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Naktuinbouw, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) and Innovision, carried out an assessment regarding the seed sector in Bangladesh.
What is the report about?
The report discusses and zooms in on the seed systems of potatoes, vegetables and flowers. For each of the crop groups, it elaborates on key bottlenecks as well as ambitions towards the development of a well-functioning Bangladesh seed sector. This report serves as a first step to further determine the direction of future cooperation between the Netherlands and Bangladesh.
