The Netherlands confirms the tremendous success of the participation in VIV Asia 2023 with high inspiration and connecting the Netherlands and Asia for GloCal innovative & sustainable livestock industry.
Bangkok & VIV Asia: A gateway to Asia livestock industry
Bangkok was back on the world livestock map last week (March 8 – 10) as the host country of VIV Asia 2023, one of the largest international trade shows dedicated to the global innovative and sustainable livestock industry, animal husbandry, veterinary & animal health and animal protein sector. VIV Asia is the gateway to Asia’s emerging markets for animal agriculture production. With more than 1,200 international exhibitors while 70 are from the Netherlands, VIV Asia 2023 becomes a gateway for global professional livestock players with an array of species covering poultry, swine, egg, fisheries & aquaculture, dairy products, beef and more.
A joint effort of the Netherlands Agri & Food Topsector and alliances
The Netherlands' presence in VIV Asia 2023 is the joint effort of Agri & Food TopSector, the Netherlands in collaboration with Hub Orange, Dutch Poultry Center and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bangkok.
The Netherlands Booth became a busy meeting point for international visitors looking for business and academic contact with the Netherlands during the three days exhibition.
“The Netherlands - Asia Inspiration Forum” brought together key Thai – Dutch experts to share their expertise on the latest GloCal (global & local) sustainable animal farming and is well attended by international audiences at VIV Asia 2023.
Thanks to the experts from Kasetsart University, Thai Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, DSM Nutritional Products (Thailand) Ltd., Dutch Aquaculture Experts, Dutch Poultry Center, Utrecht University, Health Council of the Netherlands, Insect Engineers, Aqua Spark and special thanks to words of the opening remark by the Director-General from the Thai Department of Livestock Development.
“The Netherlands – Asia Connecting Reception” powered by Dutch Poultry Center, VIV Worldwide and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands help connect Dutch companies with counterparts from Asia for the innovative and sustainable livestock system.
To learn the latest trend in international poultry, dairy and aquaculture, the professional key players from the Netherlands and Thailand were invited for a networking dinner hosted by the Netherlands Ambassador. The unique dinner provided an opportunity to share insights & latest innovations from industry and research experts and future cooperation.
