The Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Finance raised the export levy or crude palm oil (CPO) levy and its derivative products from a maximum of US$355 per tonne to US$375 per tonne.
This decision is contained in Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 23/PMK.05/2022 concerning the Third Amendment to PMK Number 57/PMK.05/2020 concerning Service Tariffs for the Public Service Agency (BLU) of the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS). effective March 18, 2022.
In this regulation, palm oil export levies are set progressively. This means: the tariff changes according to the development of prices for CPO and derivative products. The higher the price of CPO and its derivative products, the greater the export levy.
