Poland: outbreaks ASF nr 51-53
The Chief Veterinary Officer informed about the designation of the 51st, 52nd and 53rd African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks in pigs on the territory of the Republic of Poland in 2020, based on the results of the tests of August 17 this year. All outbreaks are in the south east of Poland.
The outbreaks were found in the Podkarpackie Province in the south east of Poland, farms located in the area listed in the Annex to Commission Implementing Decision 2014/709 on animal health control measures with regard to African swine fever in certain Member States and repealing Implementing Decision 2014/178 / EU .
The ASF outbreak No. 51 in 2020 was found on a farm where 3 pigs (only fattening pigs) were kept, located in Czerce, in the Sieniawa commune, in Przeworsk poviat, in the Podkarpackie Province.
The outbreak of ASF No. 52 in 2020 was found on a farm where 38 pigs (only fattening pigs) were kept, located in Dobra, in the Sieniawa commune, in Przeworsk poviat, in the Podkarpackie Province.
The outbreak of ASF No. 53 in 2020 was found on the farm where 16 pigs (including 6 piglets, 7 weaners, 1 fattening pig and 2 sows) were kept, located in Majdan Sobolewski, in the commune of Firlej, in the Lubartów poviat, in the Lubelskie Province.
