ASF situation in Poland: join our webinar!
African Swine Fever (ASF) poses a great risk to the pig production. The disease is present in the wildlife and can easily be transmitted to the pig farms. How is Poland doing presently? Our experts shall give an overview from two perspectives: wild boar management and pig sector challenges. Two specific issues will be discussed during the webinar:
- African swine fever eradication in wild boars and challenges to Polish authorities – Krzysztof Jażdżewski presentation.
- Pig movement restrictions when ASF is confirmed in pig heard (ASF outbreak) – Bas Zegers' experience and, where necessary, Krzysztof Jażdżewski explanation on official requirements.

- Bas Zegers, the pig farmer operating in Lubuskie province.
Webinar will be opened and moderated by Elro van den Burg from NPCC.
The webinar will be conducted in English. During the session, the participants will have a chance to ask specific questions to the experts.
The webinar is intended for the Dutch agri organizations and farmers and the Dutch farmers in Poland.
