Myanmar: Challenges of Illegal Trade

The Anti Illicit Trade Forum 2018 was held in Myanmar in September. Additionally, the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the European Chamber of Commerce have established an Anti-Illicit Trade Advisory Group which marks as an important step forward to combat the issue. Agriculture is amongst the many sectors that is largely affected by  the illegal border trade mainly along China and Thailand.
