Taco Bell Opens its First Restaurants in Central Europe (Bucharest)
Taco Bell, the American chain of fast-food restaurants serving a variety of Tex-Mex foods, has just opened its the first restaurant in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), in Romania’s capital city Bucharest, within Baneasa Shopping City mall, following an investment of EUR350,000 made by Sphera Franchise Group.
Sphera Franchise Group is the owner of the franchise of international chain Taco Bell and the biggest restaurant group in Romania, being the exclusive operator on the local market of other two big restaurant chains included in Yum! Brands portfolio, namely, KFC and Pizza Hut.
The second opening is planned for November 30.
Taco Bell has more than 360 restaurants in 27 countries outside the United States and its worldwide expansion objective eyes 1,000 units until 2022.
