FrieslandCampina Romania Seeks To Hire Workers At Its Factories In Cluj, Mures To Meet Growing Demand
FrieslandCampina Romania, the producer of Romanian dairy brand Napolact, said it plans to hire production and warehouse operators, mechanics and electricians at its factories in Cluj and Mures and it has no intention to put its employees on furlough.
The company has been working at full capacity since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
FrieslandCampina Romania is one of the largest actors on the local dairy market, ending 2019 with revenue of over EUR90 million, according to its previous estimates.
Its main brand is Napolact, which generates over 70% of its revenue. FrieslandCampina is part of Dutch Royal FrieslandCampina Group. Taga makes cheese in partnership with Fabrica de Branzeturi Transilvania.
FrieslandCampina Romania has donated over six tons of Napolact dairy products to associations in Cluj and Mureş, among which the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Cluj and the Elderly Care Facility in Targu Mures. In capital Bucharest, Napolact delivered dairy products to the Victor Babes Hospital, the Institute of Infectious Diseases “Professor Doctor Matei Bals, the Cantacuzino Hospital, the Bagdasar Hospital and the Coltea Hospital.
