Polish Agricultural Institute will supervise scientific projects for DG AGRI
The Polish Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences won the tender organized by the European Union.
The "Framework Contract for Analytical Services, Including Cross-cutting Analysis and Synthesis, on Agriculture and CAP Governance" agreement covers five years of cooperation, during which IRWiR PAN - and the consulting company Pricewaterhousecoopers (PWC) - will substantively support DG AGRI in analyzes related to economic aspects, environmental, climate and social issues, as well as the management of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) throughout the European Union.
What the tasks include
The tasks will include structurization, organization, coordination and supervision over a series of specific scientific and research activities, ensuring their implementation in accordance with the highest quality standards. The Polish consortium of IRWiR PAN and PWC will become an analytical center cooperating with scientists representing not only all EU member states, but also countries aspiring to join the Community.
