According to the latest data from the Polish Chief Veterinary Inspectorate, more than 70 new outbreaks of ASF have been confirmed in Poland's wild boar population over the past week.
The disease appeared on the territory of 11 provinces, with more than a third of all infections affecting the Zachodniopomorskie Province (northwestern part of Poland, bordering Germany).
Since the beginning of 2024, 475 wild boar ASF outbreaks have been confirmed in Poland.
Most of them occurred in the west of the country.
