Motion to dismiss Minister of Agriculture

PSL spokesman Mr Miłosz Motyka announced that the party had submitted a motion to dismiss the Polish Minister of Agriculture Mr Grzegorz Puda. According to the spokesman, the members of the Left party also signed the motion.

In their application, the peasants recall that Puda was appointed as the minister 10 months ago. Since then, the Ministry has not been preparing legislative projects, nor is it engaged in dialogue with farmers or with agricultural organizations, the politicians write in the justification. The allegations made by PSL against Puda include the lack of activity regarding the situation regarding African Swine Fever, lack of specificities regarding agriculture in the Polish Lada, lack of political activity regarding the embargo on the export of Polish products to the Russian market, rising costs of agricultural production or the lack of guaranteed purchase prices for fruit farmers.
