Agricultural fact finding mission to Kazakhstan
The Embassy of the Netherlands to Central Asia with residence in Astana invites Dutch agricultural companies to explore the market of Kazakhstan in a fact finding mission. The mission will take place in Astana and Almaty from October 28 – 31, 2024. In the article below you can learn more about the mission and how to participate.
Program
Astana on 28-29 October 2024
- Presentation by National Investment Agency KazakhInvest on investment and market opportunities in Kazakhstan
- Introductory meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan on priorities and financial instruments of the local agricultural sector
- Network meeting at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Astana hosted by Ambassador
Almaty 30-31 October 2024
- Visit of the Agroworld Exhibition including Netherlands Pavilion
- Field visit to greenhouse, poultry farm, orchard.
Participation and more information
The Embassy encourages companies that have no experience but certain business interest towards Kazakhstan (as a part of Central Asia) to participate in the visit. The purpose of the visit is to get introduced to the Kazakh market and make an impression of the business climate and business opportunities.
The event will be hosted by Nico Schermers the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Central Asia together with Arie Veldhuizen, the Agricultural Counsellor to Central Asia.
