Holland Stand op Global Food Innovation Summit Seeds & Chips
Van 7 t/m 10 mei 2018 zal in Milaan het Global Food Innovation Summit ‘Seeds & Chips’ plaatsvinden. Het Nederlandse postennet in Italië overweegt om bij voldoende belangstelling een collectieve Nederlandse deelname te ondersteunen.
Seeds & Chips biedt een uitstekend internationaal platform voor bedrijven en in het bijzonder start-ups die actief zijn op het gebied van innovatieve en duurzame oplossingen voor globale uitdagingen en vraagstukken op het gebied van klimaatverandering, milieu, gezonde voeding, natuurlijke hulpbronnen, eiwitvervangers en voedselvoorziening voor een groeiende wereldbevolking:

The Global Food Innovation Summit, founded by entrepreneur, Marco Gualtieri, is the world-leading flagship event in the Food Innovation field. A showcase of excellence entirely dedicated to the promotion of solutions and the latest state-of-the-art technological talents from worldwide. An exhibit as well as a conference with over 30 sessions to present and discuss themes, trends and innovations that are changing the way food is produced, processed, distributed, consumed and communicated. Food innovation concerns the whole food chain, from farm to fork: the increasing world population and protein consumption, climate change, scarcity of available resources, socio-demographic changes, protection of health and irreversible and overt changes in the processes of choice and purchase are all important to food innovation.
In its III edition Seeds&Chips hosted President Barack H. Obama as a keynote speaker. The event featured over 300 speakers from across the world, over 240 exhibitors, 15,800 visitors and 131 million social media hits in 4 days.
The IV edition of the Seeds&Chips Global Food Innovation Summit will take place at MICo, Milano Congressi, from May 7 - 10 2018, and participants will include, among others, Ex-US Secretary of State, John Kerry.
One of the Summit’s 2018 special focuses is on Water, looking to bring the best solutions responding to the water challenges we face today.

Om een Nederlandse collectieve Holland Stand/Lounge te faciliteren heeft het postennet het plan om middelen beschikbaar te stellen. Op deze manier bieden we innovatieve bedrijven en kennisinstellingen de mogelijkheid om Nederland tijdens het evenement op een representatieve wijze te kunnen vertegenwoordigen. De totale kosten voor deelname zullen op die manier lager uit kunnen vallen. De kosten voor reis en verblijf zullen voor rekening van de deelnemer zijn.
De voorwaarde om tot een definitief besluit over te gaan en een Holland Stand in te richten is dat minimaal 6 Nederlandse bedrijven/instellingen zich inschrijven.
