Iraq call for tailor-made training on water management
A call for grant applications tailor-made training (TMT+) on water management and water for agriculture has been launched under the Netherlands bilateral Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) with Iraq.
Orange Knowledge Programme
The Orange Knowledge Programme tailor-made training plus is meant to improve the overall functioning of organisations by training a selected group of staff. A Tailor-Made training can solve knowledge and skills challenges of its staff, by specifically targeting its capacity needs.
High demand
Given the challenges in the Iraqi agriculture and water management, due to years of instability and relative isolation, there is a high demand for well-trained technical experts, managers and (education) professionals with up-to date knowledge and practical skills.
The aim of this call is to strengthen the capacity for (education) professionals working on water management and water for agriculture.
The deadline for grant application is 6th of May, 2020. Maximum available grant funding for project applications under this call is € 400.000, excluding 20% co-funding. Training projects should be finished before 31 March 2022. More information on the context and eligibility below.
