Indo Livestock 2022 - Indonesia
Jakarta,- Indo Livestock 2022 Expo and Forum event has been held again in Indonesia, at Jakarta Convention Center, South Jakarta on 6-8 July 2022. The Agriculture Department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and 12 Dutch companies that are members of FoodTech Indonesia participated in the Netherlands Pavilion.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, represented by the Director General of Livestock and Animal Health of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Ir. Nasrullah, M.Sc, officially opened this event at the Opening Ceremony, which was accompanied by Managing Director of PT Napindo Media Ashatama, Arya Seta Wiriadipura, Assistant Deputy for Inclusive Finance and Sharia Finance of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Dr. Erdiriyo, S.E., M.M, and the President of the Indonesian Poultry Society Federation (FMPI), Don P. Utojo.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this program had been stopped. Finally, after Covid-19 subsided, this program was able to run again. These 12 Dutch companies are members of the FoodTech Indonesia consortium chaired by Larive International. This includes Aeres, Clarity Indonesia, De Heus Indonesia, DSM Nutritional, Hato BV, Kanters Special Products BV, Marel BV, Mavitec BV, Moba BV, MS Gold – part of the Shippers Group, Trouw Nutrition Indonesia, Van Aarsen International.
On the same occasion, the Indonesian Livestock Development Foundation (YAPPI) and the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development Studies (PSP3), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) together with the leaders of the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Association and supported by the Directorate General of Animal Health Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, expressed their appreciation of the Indonesian Livestock Industry Award with 3 categories. One of them is a Dutch company who received an award of the International Indo Livestock Loyalty Appreciation is Van Aarsen International.
The Dutch Pavilion also received an award as “Best Stand Designed” at Indo Livestock 2022. Joost van Uum hopes that this exhibition will stimulate Dutch companies to contribute to Indonesian poultry.
