Fiagrop 2019 in Cuba
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the agricultural counselor, Jean Rummenie, participated in Fiagrop 2019 that took place in Cuba. At the opening of the event, the Cuban Vice Minister of agriculture and the Ambassador, Alexandra Valkenburg were present at our stand.
We presented the results of our projects and their relation to the SDGs. During the week of the 18th until the 22nd of March we had meetings with the Cuban veterinary and phytosanitary services, companies, producers and cooperatives. Together with iCRA, which develops projects to facilitate an exchange between producers and investigators, we organized a debate. It was a very intense week at the agriculture fair.
