The Netherlands at the most important poultry Congress in Colombia 2024
The National Poultry Congress organized by the National Federation of Poultry Farmers of Colombia (FENAVI), will be held in Bogota from June 4 to 6, 2024. The congress is the most important event for the poultry sector in Colombia.
About the congress
The congress is considered a very important space for sustainable poultry and a reference in Latin America. During the event, national and international poultry sector topics will be shared through an academic agenda with both local and international speakers as well as a commercial exhibition of more than 22 thousand square meters.
The Netherlands at the commercial exhibition of FENAVI 2024
The agricultural team in Bogota with the assistance of Holland House, once again took the initiative to organize the participation of Dutch companies in the congress FENAVI.
During this edition, 9 companies will be able to participate in the Dutch pavilion. This is more than just an exhibition space. It is an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry stakeholders and to promote sustainability and innovative solutions to support the local context.
The congress will bring together an audience of more than 3,500 people including poultry producers, industry suppliers, heads of government agencies, politicians, journalists and international guests.
This is the perfect environment for updating knowledge, generating qualified contacts and why not, doing business.

The Netherlands a reference in animal health and nutrition
The academic agenda will include topics such as animal health and nutrition, as well as domestic policy issues. The first day will be focused on health and nutrition issues with the participation of international speakers, while the other two days will address internal issues of the sector.
The Netherlands is considered a reference in animal health and nutrition which is why Fenavi has invited us to participate in the academic agenda. As a result, we have invited a Dutch expert to show through his intervention, the experience of the Netherlands in this field and how this could be applied to the sector in Colombia.
According to FENAVI, this is one of the most important topics for Colombian poultry sector for them to be able to offer the best quality chicken and eggs to local and foreign consumers.
